How To Tame Frizzy Curly Hair Wig?

1. Use the right way to wash your curly human hair wig.

If the wig cap requires cleaning, soak it in wig shampoo for 5 minutes first. Drain soapy water, refill the sink with clean water, add a half cup of liquid fabric softener, and let soak for 20 minutes, which will help condition the wig hair fibers. The diffuser restricts your hair from moving around when you dry, which in turn creates less friction and less frizz.

6. Use a nourishing hair oil on dry ends.

If you still can't seem to kick the frizz once your human hair wig is blow-dried, try using nourishing hair oil. Hair oil works to fight frizz by smoothing out the hair while simultaneously adding gloss and shine. It penetrates deep into the hair cuticle to add moisture to dry ends and revitalize the health and vibrancy of your tresses. Drop 1-3 drops of oil onto your palm, rub them together and smooth over the ends of the hair to tame frizz.

7. Use your heat tools on a low setting.

Anything above 365 degrees has the potential to swell the cuticle, which will end up doing more harm than good. A safe range for your heating tools is 250 to 300 degrees to ensure minimal damage. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the volume, you can get yourself a pair of thinning shears and reduce some of the hair density that way. If you're not comfortable customizing the hair density on your own, I highly recommend taking it to a professional stylist who can help you with that. Be very careful not to thin out too much density because you don't want to make the wig so thinned out that the wefting shows! I ended up doing this on a curly wig that I own, and it works wonders to make the style take on a more natural look and less like a giant hat!
